The hardened synth riffs of "Kids", just one of the undeniable singles by MGMT, disappear in the acoustic guitar cover by The Kooks. Thanks to their passion for turning music history in new songs, Les Mentettes' first album Let's Mentettes is ready. 14 tracks that range from elegant pop to new wave and glam. By way of homage, Johnny Cash Remixed will be released on October 14, an album in which first class artists and producers remix Johnny Cash's original recordings, giving his classics a modern sound ranging from dance to hip-hop. Snoop Dog, Apparat, Mexican Institute of Sound and Mocean Worker, among others, participated in the project.
Apart from singing and playing the bass for El Mató un Policía Motorizado (Revelation Band 2007), Santiago Motorizado is an illustrator. He designed the cover art of all their albums and of some other bands of Laptra, the label he runs together with some close bands from La Plata. A month before the release of Día de los Muertos (the album that completes the trilogy formed by Navidad de Reserva and Un Millón de Euros), Santiago picks, at his discretion, the best rock covers.

As in the case of Controversy, dedicated to Prince, the Rapster label commissioned a group of top electronic musicians and producers to choose their favorite David Bowie’s songs. This way, Life Beyond Mars: Bowie Covered was born, a cover album that will be released on July 8. Carl Craig and Matthew Dear are among the artists who took part in this project.
