Since scientific studies guarantee that music plays a main role in sport, Sony Ericsson has organized Run To The Beat, a mini marathon in London. They have set up 17 stages along the route from where different music genres will sound during the competition.

In almost 500 pages, Vince Aletti compiles his chronicles, unpublished photographs and magazine articles of that time period, including over 200 disco album reviews and even a chart listing the best tracks of each week.

Silent Rave in London

Organized via Facebook, more than 12 thousand people went Friday afternoon with their mp3 players to Liverpool Street Station to participate in a silent rave, a famous type of flash mob. Participants of Liverpool Street Station Silent Dance obliged the police to close the station for 90 minutes. Watch the videos.

Artcore: Rave Auction

From February 13 to February 26, a collection of dance culture designs will be displayed at Artcore, a historical exhibition at the Ultralounge in Selfridges, London. After the closing of the exhibition, an auction house will offer to the highest bidder these original artworks: from the first Basement Jaxx logos and flyers from legendary clubs Schoom and Sign of the Times to artworks by Goldie (street artist in the past, musician in the present).
