A keyless piano that plays music without being touched? Yes, that’s AirPiano, the instrument that uses an innovative interface with infrared sensors that, helped with MIDI messages, turns hand movements into sounds.
Omer Yosha is the creator of AirPiano, which is still in its prototype phase. Its usage is similar to a Theremin and the notes that will be played depend on how much time, how and at what distance your hands are hovering over the console.
